Matteo Mancuso, born in 1996, grew up in the province of Palermo. A child prodigy, he was introduced to the world of music at a young age, thanks in part to his father, Vincenzo Mancuso, a great guitarist and well-known producer in the music industry. Vincenzo was a significant guide in listening to music for young Matteo, as well as a teacher in his initial approach to the instrument. His first solo album, titled “The Journey,” is a work that outlines his authentic, multifaceted musical nature. “The Journey” embodies the musical path of a young man who absorbs, interprets, and processes what has deeply inspired him. The tracks on this album pay tribute to his roots, and to the artists and genres that have had a huge impact on his music.
