If in 2017 we held a big concert at the House of Jazz to celebrate 100 years since the recording of the first record in jazz history, it is now the turn to celebrate 100 years since the first recording by the great Louis Armstrong that took place in Richmond, Indiana in 1923 with Joe “King” Oliver’s Creole Jazz Band.
Since then Louis Armstrong achieved enormous successes that led him to be a jazz star of the first magnitude.
Lino Patruno with his Jazz Show will recall those early years and the great hits of the legendary New Orleans trumpeter.
