PRIME DONNE HEROINES AND VICTIMS IN PUCCINI’S OPERA
A musical exploration aimed at celebrating the anniversary of Giacomo Puccini‘s death (1924 – 2024) with an exclusive journey dedicated to the women who are central to his operas. Giacomo Puccini’s operas are a triumph of the entire female kaleidoscope, each featuring a different female personality that reverberates through the narrative of fate to which the Maestro and his librettists have entrusted her. These women are sensitive and sensual, strong and vital, yet inevitably destined for self-sacrifice.
