“Walking in my shadow”

I began playing the double bass professionally in 1958 as a member of the Lucca Quintet. Previously I had studied piano but stopped at the level

complementary that however was fundamental for me to begin my path as a composer and arranger.

After all these years, walking (“walking”) I have practically gone around the world.At this point the desire came to me to look back (…in my shadow) and

rummaging through the trunk of my compositions . Something I found and thought was worth repurposing in a new guise.

For this new adventure, I have involved musicians of enormous artistic talent.

They fell into the project with great sensitivity and involvement. Without them I would not have succeeded. All my esteem and gratitude to Rita Marcotulli , Javier Girotto and Alessandro Paternesi.
