We could call it a return to basics GeGè Telesforo‘s new project. The multi-decorated vocalist from Foggia, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, record producer, popularizer, author and host of the most beloved radio and TV music programs for music fans in our country, returns discographically and in concert with a personal tribute to the blues and the sound of the late 1950s jazz – groovy period ensembles of Blue Note Records. With “Big Mama,” GeGè Telesforo wants to celebrate Rome’s most active and beloved music club since the late 1980s. Duke Ellington said, “Tonight, we will play you some blues, and some … not blues! That’s what we’re going to do, too.” Looking forward to the new record release on all digital platforms and vinyl, with a lineup composed of some of the best Italian talents of the new generation.
