Four Winds
Four Winds is the meeting of Daniel Besthorn, Great Mudiare, Giuseppe Sacchi and Xuzhi Chen. Hailing from Germany, Africa, Asia and Italy, respectively, they met for the first time in Rome at the Saint Louis, forming the quartet Four Winds in March 2022. Since then, they have played at various clubs and festivals in the capital, developing a number of original songs, all of which originated spontaneously during studio sessions. The quartet’s name reflects their desire to blend all their different cultures and traditions into a cohesive sound, respecting the same spirit of unity and contamination that characterized the birth and development of jazz.
